Atlanta & Beyond
What started as a small nonprofit in a north Atlanta neighborhood has quickly grown into something
much larger. Today, the work of Bagel Rescue volunteers can be found in 12 Atlanta area counties, totaling
60 neighborhoods. Over the years, as the number of our Donor and Recipient Partners has grown, so have we! Bagel Rescue can now be found in other cities in Georgia including Brunswick, on the coast, and Athens, home to the University of Georgia. And in 2025, Bagel Rescue moved beyond Georgia, reaching into several other eastern cities. You can now find our volunteers rescuing in Raleigh and Nashville, and as far north as Alexandria, Virginia.
Leadership in Your City
Bagel Rescue is currently seeking passionate Hunger Relief Warriors (also known as Captains) to create
and lead food rescue efforts in their city. With support from our Atlanta-based team, Bagel Rescue Captains
will develop Donor and Recipient Agency partnerships and lead a team of volunteers in weekly rescue
and delivery routes.
